Stormwater GIS for Indian Beach/Sapphire Shores

As part of the College’s Bay Neighbor’s Program, the Environmental Studies Program will host a presentation to briefly outline basic GIS methods used in the project, highlight important results, and suggest ideas for future stormwater research, retrofits, and outreach in the IBSS neighborhood.

March 31, 2006. A huge congratulations to students participating in New College of Florida’s Science Outreach for Students (SOS) program. They have been awarded the Sarasota County Conservation Award for “Outstanding Achievement in Environmental Education” for their volunteerism and outreach to middle school science classes over the past 2 years.
