Students at New College of Florida will have a great meeting place in the near future. Workers recently began the reconstruction of the open space plaza in front of the Jane Bancroft Cook Library. The grand pedestrian plaza was included in plans completed in 2011 for the Academic Center next to the library. A major focal point of the plaza will be a contemporary-styled bell tower.
