Ever since the Social Studies Project of 2003, NMNC has regularly offered experimental music that invites playful participation by audience members. Playspace will consist of musical games for voices – some pieces will be performed for the audience, others with the audience, and some pieces will overlap in time and space.
Playspace is an outgrowth of the Experimental Music Theory and Practice course taught by Professor Stephen Miles in 2008. The performance will be held in College Hall and begins at 8:00 pm.
Due to the size of the venue, a limited number of seats are available. While tickets for faculty, students and staff are free, it is HIGHLY recomended that those who wish to attend reserve seats in advance.
