Small Change Could Have Significant Impact to Voter Turnout

There will be fewer polls in the upcoming elections now that Sarasota County has voted to do away with 42 of them.  What impact that could have on possible voter suppression has been a debate as of late, as some studies indicate that even the smallest change could keep some away. … “It could have a significant impact on turnout.  Not an overwhelming impact.”  New College political science professor Frank Alcock says these types of moves hit places like the Newtown the hardest.
